Caring in Malaysia

• As a medium-sized short-haired mixed breed, it copes well with the Malaysian heat. Give it a shaded, ventilated indoor spot and plenty of water, and walk during cooler morning or evening hours.
• Grooming is low — just brush the short coat once or twice a week to remove loose hair and dirt. Bathe when needed and check the skin for irritations after outdoor play.
• Mixed breeds carry fewer inherited problems, but watch for stiffness or difficulty rising, which can point to hip dysplasia. Red, itchy or flaky skin also needs a vet check.
