Chapter 4: Choosing the right wet food for your cat's life stage

Kittens, adults and senior cats have different nutritional needs. Look for a label that states the life stage clearly, such as growth, maintenance or all life stages. Growing kittens need more energy and protein for development, while older cats may benefit from softer textures that are easier to chew. In Malaysia's heat, check the expiry date carefully and choose sizes your cat can finish within a day or two once opened. If your cat has a medical condition, ask your vet before switching.
