Chapter 5: Wet food textures and how to pick one your cat likes

Wet food comes in pate, shredded, chunks in gravy and jelly forms. Some cats prefer smooth textures, while others like to bite on meat pieces. If your cat is a fussy eater, offer a small amount of a new texture alongside the familiar one and watch the reaction over a few days. In tropical weather, uneaten wet food should not sit out for more than 30 minutes, as it spoils faster and may attract ants or flies. Refrigerate any leftovers in a sealed container and finish them within 24 hours.
